The turkey chops themselves are quite simple, but thanks to the ham and sage, it becomes unusual. Sage gives turkey meat a unique flavor. Chops like these are perfect for a hearty dinner.
It is necessary
- For two servings:
- - 2 pcs. turkey fillet without skin;
- - 2 slices of ham;
- - 4 leaves of fresh sage;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of flour, olive oil;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter;
- - black pepper, salt, lemon.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the turkey fillet, cut it in half lengthwise to make thin patties. Place these patties between two layers of cling film, each with a rolling pin or hammer. Sprinkle the cutlets with pepper and salt.
Step 2
Place half of the ham, sage leaves on each patty, and secure this trio with a toothpick to prevent the chops from falling apart during cooking.
Step 3
Pour pepper and salt along with flour into a plate, roll chops in the dry mixture on all sides. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet, add the butter and stir.
Step 4
Place the chops in a skillet, sage side down, and fry for a couple of minutes over medium heat. Then turn the chops over, fry them for another half a minute until fully cooked. Turkey meat (especially beaten) is cooked very quickly.
Step 5
Serve the turkey chops with sage and ham straight away, garnished with fresh lemon wedges. You can serve it as an independent dish or prepare any side dish for chops - rice, buckwheat, pasta or potatoes.
