Delicious baked pork with a fragrant cherry layer will surprise you with its taste. It would seem that such a strange combination is meat and cherries, but it turns out incredibly tasty, the sweetness of cherries perfectly complements the tender pork tenderloin.
It is necessary
- - 500 g of pork tenderloin;
- - 250 g fresh or frozen pitted cherries;
- - salt, ground pepper mixture.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the pork tenderloin, cut it in a spiral to make one long piece, beat it off a little. Spread the meat on both sides with a mixture of peppers and salt, twist, put in a bag and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 2
Remove the meat, unfold, place the pitted cherries on top. Twist with a roll, pinch with skewers, then tie with twine. Skewers can now be removed from meat. Place the meat on the foil, raise its edges so that the juice does not flow out. Pour the remaining cherry juice over the meat (if the cherries were frozen) and line the cherries. Wrap in foil.
Step 3
Place the meat in the foil on a baking sheet so that the juice cannot flow out of the foil. Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake for 1, 5 hours, then open the foil and let the meat brown for 20 minutes. Turn the pork and let the other side also brown for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Cool the finished pork roll with cherries, remove the twine, and cut the roll itself into portions. Chilled pork is also very tasty. Can be served as an appetizer or as a lunchtime snack.
