Steamed cutlets cooked in a slow cooker are a wonderful dietary dish that is suitable for both adults and children. Steam cutlets are made from minced meat or chicken, fish and even mushrooms. Along with the main dish in the multicooker, you can make a side dish, for example, cook potatoes.
Steamed meat patties
Prepare the following ingredients: 0.5 kg of meat (beef, pork) or minced meat, 2 onions, white bread (half a fat), bread crumbs, 2 eggs, a little milk, salt, spices to taste.
Soak bread in a mixture of milk and water. Cut the meat into chunks, mince it, then twist the onion and soaked bread. Add eggs, salt and spices to the mixture, mix everything thoroughly.
To make the cutlets juicy, add a little boiled water to the minced meat. A small piece of butter added to the minced meat will add airiness to the dish.
Form the minced meat into small patties and roll in the breadcrumbs. Pour 1 cup of filtered water into the multicooker, insert the steaming dish, put the cutlets into it. On average, 8 pieces are removed into the form. If you have a lot of servings, cook them in several batches. Set the "Steamer" (or "Steam") mode and the cooking time is 35 minutes.
Serve hot cooked steamed meat patties with fresh vegetable salads. Garnish with finely chopped herbs.
Steamed fish cakes
To cook steamed fish cakes in a slow cooker, take 600 grams of any sea fish fillet, 1 egg, onion, 4 tablespoons of bran, dill, salt, pepper. Grind the fish fillets with a blender, add finely chopped onions and the rest of the ingredients, mix everything thoroughly and leave for 20 minutes to swell the bran.
Form the patties. Pour water into the multicooker, put the patties in the steam dish, set the Steamer mode and the cooking time is 30 minutes.
Steamed fish cakes can be served hot or cold. You can make a delicious white sauce with them.
Mushroom steamed cutlets in a slow cooker
Try steaming mushroom cutlets in a slow cooker. Prepare 800 g of forest mushrooms, 1 cup of buckwheat, 5 tbsp. oatmeal, 1 egg, 1-2 onions, sunflower oil, salt, pepper. Peel the mushrooms, cut them and boil them in salted water until tender. Rinse the buckwheat and fill it with water. Cook it in the multicooker bowl in the "Groats" mode.
Throw the boiled mushrooms in a colander, and then chop with a meat grinder or blender. Cut the onion into cubes and fry it for 4-5 minutes in the slow cooker in the "Fry" mode. Add mushrooms to onions. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Put buckwheat porridge, an egg into the mushrooms, add salt and pepper, add oatmeal.
The ratio of mushrooms, buckwheat and oatmeal in cutlets can be changed at your own discretion.
Form small patties and place in a steaming dish. Pour 1 cup of water into the multicooker bowl. Cook the mushroom patties for 15 minutes in the Steamer mode.
How to cook steam cutlets in a multicooker at the same time as a side dish
To cook side dishes (such as potatoes) at the same time as steamed patties, place patties in a multicooker container for steaming. Peel and rinse the potatoes, cut them not very coarsely, put them in a multicooker bowl, add salt, season with spices, fill with water so that it almost completely covers the potatoes.
Place a steamer bowl with cutlets over the potatoes. Set the "Baking" mode on the multicooker and the cooking time is 40-45 minutes. Drain the finished potatoes and mash them.
