Many people think that the recipe for the Prague chocolate cake came to Russia from the capital of the Czech Republic, but the inhabitants of Prague itself hardly know about the existence of such a dessert. Our Prague cake got its name thanks to the restaurant of the same name in the capital, where the pastry chef who invented the recipe worked. Today, the Prague cake can be easily prepared in a multicooker.
It is necessary
- To prepare the crust:
- - sugar (1 glass);
- - flour (1, 5 cups);
- - condensed milk (0, 5 cans);
- - sour cream (1 glass);
- - eggs (2 pcs.);
- - soda (1 tsp);
- - cocoa powder (1 tbsp. spoon).
- To prepare the cream:
- - butter (150 g);
- - condensed milk (0, 5 cans).
- To prepare the glaze:
- - cocoa powder (2 tablespoons);
- - milk (50 ml);
- - sugar (4 tablespoons).
Instructions
Step 1
Beat eggs with granulated sugar with a mixer until tender foam is formed. Mix sour cream with condensed milk and add soda to it, then combine the resulting mixture with beaten eggs and mix until a dense homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 2
Add sifted flour and cocoa powder to the prepared mixture, mix everything thoroughly until smooth with a spoon or mixer (the consistency of the dough should be similar in appearance to thick sour cream).
Step 3
The bowl of the multicooker must first be greased with a thin layer of butter and the resulting dough must be carefully poured into it. Set the "Baking" mode on the multicooker, set the cooking time to 60 minutes, and the temperature to 180 degrees. If at the end of baking the top layer of the crust is not baked to the end, then you should bake it for about 10-15 minutes more.
Step 4
Remove the finished cake from the multicooker using a double boiler, then let it cool and divide the cake into three equal parts. Bring the butter to a softened state and mix it with condensed milk. The resulting butter cream should be evenly distributed over the surface of the lower and middle cakes, the sides of the cake should also be greased with cream.
Step 5
To prepare the glaze, you need to mix water, sugar, sour cream and cocoa in a metal bowl, then bring the resulting mixture to a boil over low heat. Add a small amount of softened butter to the already cooled chocolate mass and mix everything again. Apply the prepared icing to the top layer of the cake and put the cake in the refrigerator until the frosting completely hardens.
