Instructions

Step 1

Vegetable oil is stored for quite a long time thanks to its original packaging: in a sterilized container with a tightly sealed lid, it will retain its properties for 1, 5 - 2 years. At the same time, it is better to store the oil in a cool dark place and it is advisable to give preference to glassware.

Step 2

Sunflower oil for cooking is consumed quite quickly, especially if you are used to cooking for the whole family. Therefore, you do not need to worry about the safety of the product: you can store an open bottle of oil in the refrigerator for about a month. Sunflower oil can be stored at room temperature from +5 to +20 degrees, but put the bottle in a dark place: direct sunlight will spoil the product very quickly.

Step 3

Use folk recipes for storing oil. Having bought sunflower oil in plastic packaging, immediately pour it into a glass bottle, preferably darkened. Place a few raw beans in the bottom of the bottle and add a teaspoon of salt to the butter. Close container tightly with a lid after using oil.

Step 4

Olive oil loves warmth and shade, so it is not advisable to put it in the refrigerator. The ideal place to store olive oil is in a kitchen cabinet, which reliably protects the product from the sun's rays. Staying in the light for a long time, olive oil loses its beneficial properties, so do not leave decorative bottles and saucers with oil on the table.

Step 5

Try to test the quality of the olive oil. Place a small amount of oil in the refrigerator until freezing. Only olive oil at -7 starts to crystallize.

Step 6

A less popular but very useful edible oil is flaxseed oil. The vitamins and fatty acids it contains are essential for vegetarians. It is not customary to fry food in linseed oil: when heated, it becomes harmful. Linseed oil is intended for dressing salads and making cold sauces. Store this product in the refrigerator!
