Cooking times may vary depending on the size of the pizza. A product with a standard weight of 530 g should be kept in defrosting mode for about 8 minutes, and then switch the microwave to 500 W and cook for 4-5 minutes, then increase the power to 750 W and hold for another 1 minute. You do not need to remove the polyethylene in which the pizza is packed, otherwise it will become dry.
If you cook frozen pizza without plastic packaging in the microwave, you can cover it with a special plastic lid on top to prevent the top layer from drying out.
There is another way for a microwave oven and a pizza weighing 200 g. Defrost it in the defrost mode or, if not, in the "Power below average" mode, the time is 2.5 minutes. Remove the pizza and let it stand at room temperature for 3-4 minutes, then microwave it at full power (600-700W) and bake for another 1 minute.
If you will be cooking in the oven, preheat it to 200 ° C, put the pizza on a baking sheet or in a special ceramic roasting dish and send it to the oven for 6-8 minutes. The most accurate indicator of its readiness will be the aroma.

The first frozen pizza appeared in the United States. Ron Symek, owner of the Zamogilny Spring bar, came up with the idea to sell ready-made pizza in frozen form so that the customer could reheat and eat it hot at any convenient moment.
The frozen pizza, dubbed Tombstone Pizza, quickly became a popular staple.
A large fast food company, Kraft Foods, acquired all rights to it from Symek and began to produce frozen pizza on an industrial scale under its own brand. The company's expenses for acquiring these rights paid off very quickly, already in 1986 it earned its first million selling frozen pizza.
