- 200 grams of frisee lettuce leaves;

- 1 head of red onion.

To make the salad especially beautiful, use bright yellow tomatoes.

Cut the pulp of the watermelon and the tomatoes into equal cubes. Peel the onion and chop into thin half rings. Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper and salt in a bowl. In a salad bowl, combine the watermelon, tomatoes and onions, add the dressing and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Add washed and dried lettuce leaves to the salad before serving.

A simple and tasty salad is made from a combination of just a few ingredients - watermelon, fresh cucumbers and a savory dressing. If you mix pieces of fruit with slices of vegetable and season with balsamic vinegar, sugar and salt, let the salad sit for a while, you will get a great addition to meat fried over coals.
