Fruit salad served on a plate of fresh melon is twice as delicious. Even local and very ordinary fruits will delight guests when served in such an unusual "dish".
It is necessary
- melon or watermelon
- -kitchen knife
- -spoon for cutting balls
Instructions
Step 1
Any melon is suitable for cooking plates, but it is better to take honey, collective farmer or galia, because they are small. If the plate will be made from watermelon, then you need to choose the smallest one.
Step 2
Vases with curly edges. Cut the melon in half. Use a sharp knife to cut the fruit obliquely from top to bottom to a depth of about 2/3 of the height of the melon. Then tilt the half of the melon and, moving the edge of the knife vertically, cut out the triangles. Remove seeds.
Step 3
A plate notched from above. Cut a thin slice from the bottom so that the melon stands firmly. Cut it from above 3-4 times crosswise to a depth of 2/3 of the melon height. Scrape the seeds out with a spoon.
Step 4
Serrated plate. Stick a long sharp knife deeply along the broken line and cut the melon in half. Then separate the halves and remove the seeds.
Step 5
Melon balls. With a special spoon, you can remove the balls of pulp from the melon. The rest is finely chopped and added to the salad.
