Yoghurt-based sauces are becoming more and more popular in our diet. They are very unusual, tasty, easily digestible and low in calories. All these qualities are just well suited for the summer season.
To make yogurt sauce you will need:
- 300 gr of ripe, red tomatoes,
- 1 small hot pepper
- 150 gr fresh garden mint,
- 150 gr cilantro greens,
- 1/2 liter of plain yogurt
- paprika,
- salt.
Sauce preparation method
We take the tomatoes, wash them thoroughly under running water, scald them with boiling water from the kettle, carefully remove the skin from all of them and crumble them very finely.
Carefully remove the seeds from the hot pepper and chop the pepper itself very finely.
We sort out the sprigs of mint and cilantro, remove the damaged ones and rinse thoroughly with cold water, dry them.
Then finely chop the prepared greens, but not all, and leave a few stalks with leaves to decorate the sauce.
Now we mix everything that we crumbled, salt to taste, put it in a bowl intended for the sauce, and carefully fill it with slightly salted yogurt.
Beautifully sprinkle with paprika, decorate with mint leaves and a sprig of cilantro.
We always serve this sauce cold.
Second meat dishes with boiled rice, buckwheat, pearl barley or potatoes will become even tastier if you add our sauce to them.
