Absinthe is a very strong alcoholic drink. It contains 70 to 86% alcohol. Therefore, most often it is not consumed in its pure form, but as part of cocktails. Absinthe itself is green in color, and in cocktails it can turn yellow, red and even blue.

If you want to bring a glass of sky-colored drink to your lips, then prepare a romantic cocktail "Clouds". Here's what you need to do this:
- 10 ml of absinthe;
- 20 ml of silver tequila;
- 20 ml sambuca;
- 1 ml of Baileys liqueur (Baileys);
- 1 ml of Blue Curacao liqueur.
The ingredients for this cocktail are not mixed but carefully stacked in layers. The first will be sambuca. The second is tequila. One milliliter is a drop. This is exactly how much you need to add to the stack of Blue Curacao and Baileys.

Simple cocktail
To make the next absinthe cocktail, you will need a shaker. It is necessary to mix in it:
- 30 ml of water;
- 30 ml of absinthe;
- 1 bar spoon of sugar syrup.
If the last attribute is not on the farm, then you can take an ordinary teaspoon, which can hold 5 milliliters of liquid.

Cocktail "Sazerak"
The following absinthe cocktail recipe is an old one. It has been known since 1800. The drink received this name 59 years later in honor of the cafe where this cocktail was served.
The drink is strong, therefore it is considered masculine. It is prepared from:
- absinthe;
- 2 ml of Peychaud's tincture (Pisho);
- 75 ml rye whiskey;
- 1 ml bitter Angostura (Angostura);
- lemon peel;
- 1 cube of sugar.
In a glass, mix whiskey with Angostura tincture, put ice there. Take an old fashion glass and dissolve sugar and a little water in it.
Pour some absinthe into this glass, just enough so that you can turn the glass, and the absinthe would smear its inner walls. Now you can put crushed ice in a glass, pour in a mix of whiskey and settings and decorate with a lemon crust. The drink is ready.
