It is necessary

  • - wheat flour - 3-4 glasses;
  • - yeast - 30 g;
  • - milk - 1 glass;
  • - Ossetian cheese - 300 g;
  • - potatoes - 3-4 pcs;
  • - butter - 100 g;
  • - vegetable oil - 50 g;
  • - salt - 1 teaspoon.

Instructions

Step 1

Mixing yeast with granulated sugar, pour a little warm water. Leave this mixture aside for about 10-15 minutes. Thus, you get a dough for the test.

Step 2

Pour the flour onto the work surface, forming a slide. Make a notch at its top and enter the finished dough into it. Then add salt and water there. Mix the mass as it should, then add sunflower oil to it. Put the dough in a warm place for a while.

Step 3

In the meantime, make the filling for the future cake. To do this, peel the potatoes and put them on fire, placing them in a saucepan with salted water, and cook until cooked. Then mash. Mash the cheese, too, and then combine with the potato mass. Place the milk there. Season with salt and stir until smooth.

Step 4

Knead the dough that has come up slightly, then turn it into a flat cake about 1 centimeter thick by rolling it out with a rolling pin. Place the potato filling in the center of the resulting layer in an even layer. Wrap the dish like an envelope. Then gently flatten and flip over to the other side. Repeat this procedure until the cake is round and thick enough.

Step 5

Place the dish in the pan with oil, making a small hole in the center. It is necessary so that the cake does not burst from the accumulated steam. Fry until golden brown. "Kartofdzhyn" is ready!
