Sorbet and granite are types of ice cream that are made without milk. These tasty, low-calorie treats can be made at home. Most often, "water" ice cream is made on the basis of berry puree, but you can try other original options.

- Strawberry ice cream:
- - 2 medium sized lemons;
- - 1 cup of sugar;
- - 5 cups of chopped strawberries;
- - 0.75 glasses of water.
- Orange sorbet:
- - 2 oranges;
- - 1 glass of water;
- - 0.5 cups of sugar.
- Berry ice cream:
- - 450 g of a mixture of frozen berries;
- - 175 g of sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of orange juice.
- Red wine granite:
- - 100 ml of water;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 450 ml of red wine;
- - egg white.

Step 1
Strawberry ice cream
Children like this ice cream very much. The taste can be varied by using not garden strawberries, but forest strawberries, fresh or frozen. Lemon juice can be replaced with orange juice, this will give the dessert an unusual nuance.

Wash the lemons with a brush and hot water. Cut off the zest, squeeze out the juice. Sort the strawberries, rinse, remove the sepals. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and lemon zest. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Strain the syrup and pour the lemon juice into it.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the strawberries with the sugar syrup. Divide the mixture into plastic containers and place in the freezer for 3 hours. Then remove the containers and beat the ice cream again with a blender. Put it back in containers and freeze for another 6 hours. Spread the dessert over the bowls, garnish with whole strawberries and serve.

Orange sorbet
This ice cream has a refreshing sweet and sour taste with a slight bitterness. The easiest way to prepare dessert is in an ice cream maker. But you can freeze it in a container too. Squeeze the juice from the oranges, finely grate the zest, after cutting out a few thin strips. In a saucepan, boil water with sugar, boil the syrup for 5-7 minutes, then cool it a little, pour in the orange juice and stir. Add the grated zest and cool the mixture completely. Pour the mixture into a plastic container. Freeze for 3-4 hours and then beat thoroughly in a blender. Freeze the mixture again and whisk again. Serve ice cream in bowls decorated with orange peel spirals.
Step 5
Berry ice cream
This dessert prepares very quickly and does not require re-freezing. Put frozen raspberries, strawberries and currants in a mixer bowl, add sugar. Leave the mixture to thaw for 30-40 minutes. Then whisk everything into a homogeneous mass. Arrange the finished dessert in bowls and serve, garnished with fresh mint leaves.

Red wine granite
Granite is an unusual dessert reminiscent of crushed ice. It can be made from berry juice, coffee, champagne. This type of ice cream melts very quickly and should be served in chilled bowls. Dissolve the sugar in water and place on the stove. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute. Juice the orange and add it to the syrup. Pour in red wine. Remove the mixture from the stove, refrigerate and pour into a wide flat container. Place the container in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Then crush the granite into small pieces with a fork and freeze again. Lubricate the chilled bowls with protein along the edge and dip in granulated sugar so that you get a white border. Place in bowls and serve immediately.
