Pumpkin is one of the healthiest vegetables around. Not only can a lot of all kinds of dishes be prepared from this fruit, but they also turn out to be so tasty that they cannot leave any gourmet indifferent. Pumpkin pie is one of the simplest dishes that even a novice housewife can handle.
How to make pumpkin pie quickly
You will need:
- 500 g pumpkin;
- 50 g of walnuts;
- 500 g flour;
- 50 g butter;
- 1 tsp baking powder;
- 50 g of sugar;
- 1 tsp cinnamon;
100-150 g of condensed milk.
Take a pumpkin (it is best to take a small fruit), wash it in cold water and cut it into large slices without removing the skin.
Put the resulting slices on a baking sheet and bake them at 180 degrees until soft. Chill the pumpkin pieces and grind them (it is better to use an ordinary grater). Cut the slices that are not completely baked in random order.
Mix chopped pumpkin with flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar and softened butter. Knead the dough.
Add the nuts and pumpkin slices previously cut to the dough, mix. Grease a baking sheet with butter, place the dough on it so that "sides" are formed, and pour the condensed milk into the middle.
Bake the pie in the oven until cooked at a temperature of 190-200 degrees.
How to cook pumpkin pie in a slow cooker
You will need:
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 3 eggs;
- 300-350 g pumpkin;
- 1 tsp baking powder;
- 1 glass of flour;
- 30 g of vegetable oil;
- 1/3 tsp salt;
- 30 g of icing sugar.
Beat eggs with sugar and salt. Beat until the mass doubles.
Sift the flour, mix it with baking powder and gradually stir in the egg mass. Pour butter into the dough and mix everything thoroughly.
Rub the pumpkin pulp through a sieve, squeeze out the juice and add the resulting mass to the dough. Mix everything again.
Grease a bowl of a multicooker with oil and put the dough in it. Set the bake setting and bake the cake for 60 minutes. When the time has elapsed, remove the cake from the bowl, place it on a flat plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Pumpkin pie in a slow cooker is ready.
