Fresh cabbage and chicken salad is a light and dietary, but at the same time very tasty and satisfying dish, which is perfect for hot weather. It can also be included in the diet for those who want to lose a couple of extra pounds.
It is necessary
- - 400 g of fresh white cabbage;
- - 300 g of smoked chicken;
- - 1 fresh cucumber;
- - 300 g of canned corn;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - light mayonnaise;
- - olive oil;
- - several pieces of white loaf;
- - salt, black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to prepare the salad croutons. To do this, cut the white loaf into small cubes and dry it in the oven. Salt the dried croutons, season with allspice and mix with chopped garlic clove. Sprinkle the croutons with a little olive oil and mix them thoroughly.
Step 2
Wash fresh cabbage and chop finely.
Step 3
Cut the smoked chicken fillet into neat slices.
Step 4
Peel the cucumber and cut it into small strips.
Step 5
Put all the ingredients in a salad bowl, add canned corn (no liquid). Season the salad with a small amount of light mayonnaise (you don't need a lot of mayonnaise, since cabbage and cucumber will give juice), add a few pinches of allspice and salt to taste.
Step 6
Before serving, sprinkle the summer salad from fresh cabbage with cooked crackers.
