White cabbage, one of the most popular foods in our diet, is, perhaps, on a par with potatoes. Cabbage is very useful, it is a storehouse of vitamins, micro- and macroelements. This plant lends itself well to canning, salting and fresh storage. There are a lot of cabbage dishes. A juicy, light and tasty fresh cabbage salad is easy and quick to prepare.

- 300 gr. fresh cabbage
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 carrot
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ground black pepper
- salt
Instructions
Step 1
Chop the cabbage into strips.
Step 2
Add a pinch of salt and lightly brush the cabbage with your hand to soften and highlight the juice.
Step 3
Peel and grate the carrots.
Step 4
Peel the bell pepper from seeds and remove the stalk. Chop the pepper into thin strips.
Step 5
Chop the cucumber into strips.
Step 6
Mix vegetables with cabbage.
Step 7
Prepare a dressing.
In a separate bowl, combine the oil and vinegar and whisk the mixture lightly.
Step 8
Pepper the dressing.
Step 9
Pour the dressing into the salad and stir.
Step 10
Add salt to the dish if necessary.
