It is necessary

    • flounder;
    • vegetable oil;
    • flour or breadcrumbs;
    • vegetables (onion
    • carrot);
    • tomato puree;
    • salt;
    • spice.

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the flounder, rinse and cut into pieces. Then season with salt, pepper and roll in flour or breadcrumbs. Pour vegetable oil into the pan and wait for it to heat up. Immediately after this, you can proceed to the heat treatment stage.

Step 2

Start putting the prepared flounder pieces into the pan. Please note that there must be a distance of at least a centimeter between the pieces of fish. After about five minutes, turn each piece over and fry on the other side. Pay attention to the color - cook the flounder until golden brown. This usually takes 10-12 minutes.

Step 3

Lovers of sweet and sour sauces can cook flounder in a marinade. It is cooked directly before frying in the second skillet. Cut carrots and onions into strips and fry until soft, add tomato puree and simmer for 8-10 minutes. Then add 1/4 cup boiling water, salt and sugar and cook the marinade for another 10 minutes. Pour the fried flounder with hot marinade. Then bring the marinated fish to a boil and turn off.

Step 4

Flounder is eaten cold or hot, freshly cooked. Reheated fish loses its taste and beneficial properties. If you want to taste hot flounder, then it is better to fry it before serving. A traditional side dish for fish is a green vegetable salad, mashed potatoes or boiled rice. A hot side dish is prepared, a little longer than the fish itself. Therefore, schedule the time to serve the dish hot, flavorful, and sour. If the rice is still boiling, and guests are already knocking spoons on the table, use a little trick: put a pan with flounder in a preheated oven for 5-10 minutes. This will save time, and the fish will become even more tender and juicy.
