Thyme (thyme) is also popularly called the Bogorodsk herb. He received this name because in the old days, on the eve of the Dormition of the Theotokos, they decorated icons with the face of a saint. Thyme is a medicinal plant, it is very good to brew medicinal teas from it, which will help with diseases of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, nervous system and others. The greatest effect is obtained from thyme in combination with other medicinal herbs.

- 1 part thyme;
- 1 part valerian root
- 1 part peppermint

- Antiallergic fee:
- 1 part thyme;

- 1 part nettle;
- 2 parts of a string.
- Against glaucoma:
- 1 part thyme;
- 1 part raspberry leaves
- 1 part hawthorn fruit;
- 1 part chamomile.
- From cough:
- 1 tbsp thyme;
- honey.
- To reduce alcohol cravings:
- 1 tbsp thyme.
Instructions
Step 1
For coronary artery disease, it is very good to do a sedative collection: 1 part thyme, 1 part valerian root, 1 part peppermint, 1 part licorice root, 2 parts burdock root, and 2 parts motherwort. All this is mixed and brewed at the rate of: 1 teaspoon of the mixture in a glass of boiling water. For infusion, you can use a thermos, or you can bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand in a closed container for 1 hour. Divide the resulting infusion into 5 receptions.
Step 2
To reduce allergies, thyme is used together with sage (1 part), coriander (1 part), nettle (1 part) and two parts of a string. Pour boiling water over one teaspoon of the collection and brew in a water bath for 20 minutes. Then cool and strain. It is recommended to take an infusion of these herbs three times a day before meals, 50 ml each.
Step 3
Thyme is successfully used for the prevention and treatment of glaucoma. For this, a medicinal collection is used, consisting of equal parts of raspberry leaves, hawthorn fruits, chamomile herbs and, of course, thyme. Take a teaspoon of a mixture of these medicinal plants, pour 1 liter of hot water. Bring to a boil, insist for 1 hour and take half a cup 3 times a day, before meals and a quarter cup after eating.
Step 4
Thyme has excellent antitussive properties. Therefore, its infusions are recommended to relieve symptoms of bronchitis and other bronchopulmonary diseases. The herb is brewed at the rate of: 1 tablespoon per glass of boiling water, after an hour of infusion, it can be consumed with honey, like tea.
Step 5
Thyme has the unique property of reducing alcohol cravings. When using a decoction of the herb, after taking alcoholic beverages, unpleasant symptoms appear: vomiting, small spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, pulse quickens, sweating appears. All this causes a persistent aversion to alcohol. You need to brew thyme in the same way as for cough treatment (step 4).
