The Stolichny salad is a very tasty and satisfying holiday treat, which they liked to serve on the New Year's table back in Soviet times. The composition of the salad is somewhat reminiscent of the famous "Olivier". A significant difference is that in "Stolichnoye", as a rule, tender chicken meat is used, which makes it more dietary and easily digestible.

Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the chicken fillet and put it in a saucepan of boiling salted water. Boil it under a slightly open lid for half an hour, and then cool it without removing it from the broth. This will make the meat as tender as possible. After cooling, cut the fillets into small cubes.
Step 2
The presence of the beef tongue makes the salad more festive and rich in taste. You can cook without it. But if you have it, then it also needs to be boiled. To do this, rinse the tongue, boil water, salt it and cook for 60 minutes at the lowest temperature. When the tongue has cooled, cut it into small cubes.
Step 3
Next, you need to prepare vegetables and eggs for the salad. Rinse the potatoes and carrots, put them in a saucepan with cold water, bring to a boil, add a teaspoon of salt and cook in their skins until tender. Place the chicken eggs in a saucepan or saucepan, pour in cold water, salt and boil for 10 minutes. After that, immediately cool them under a stream of cold water so that they are better cleaned. When the potatoes, carrots, and eggs have cooled, chop them into small cubes.
Step 4
Lastly, cut the pickles and the peeled apple, drizzled with lemon juice, into cubes. An important point: it is desirable that all the components be cut into cubes similar in size to each other, this will certainly affect the taste of the salad and its appearance. When the entire preparatory process is complete, transfer the chicken fillet, tongue, potatoes, carrots, apples, pickles and eggs to a salad bowl or bowl.
Step 5
The last thing you need to do is make a salad dressing. To do this, peel the garlic cloves and crush them through a press or simply chop finely with a knife. In a small bowl, mix them together with 4-5 tablespoons of mayonnaise, adding black pepper. Chop parsley and send to a salad bowl. After that, transfer the garlic-mayonnaise dressing to the salad, mix everything well and send it to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
