Chicken meat is one of the most popular and favorite foods. Ease of preparation and tasty results are its main advantages. Chicken is a dietary product, but at the same time it is a rich source of protein. Chicken drumstick can rightfully be called the most delicious part of chicken, because when cooked, it turns out to be moderately fatty and very juicy.
It is necessary
-
- chicken drumstick;
- soy sauce;
- lime juice;
- dried greens;
- vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken drumsticks under cool running water. For cooking, it is best to use fresh chilled meat, the dish will turn out to be more juicy. If you are using frozen drumsticks, thaw them at room temperature before washing.
Step 2
Prepare the sauce. Pour soy sauce and lime juice into a small bowl, add dried herbs to taste. For 5 chicken drumsticks, you will need 5-7 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2-3 tablespoons of lime juice.
Step 3
Place the drumsticks in a preheated skillet. It is best to use a non-stick cookware that can be used to fry without oil. If you are using a regular frying pan, then preheat a little vegetable oil (1-2 tablespoons) in it, and then lay out the meat. It is most convenient to lay out the shins in a row, while placing the pulp closer to the edge of the pan, so they can fit more.
Step 4
Sauté the drumsticks over high heat for a minute, then turn each piece and sauté again for a minute. Reduce heat to medium.
Step 5
Pour the prepared sauce over the drumsticks. Add boiled water so that all the liquid reaches the middle of the thickness of the meat. When the liquid comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and continue simmering the chicken for about 40 minutes. Remember to rotate your shins from time to time. This will allow them to soak well in the sauce.
Step 6
Serve the chicken drumsticks with garnish. Boiled or fried potatoes are best combined with chicken. Rice is also a good side dish - when serving it, you can pour it over the sauce in which the meat was stewed.
