It is known that fish is the best choice for those who want to lose weight, because it is low in calories, healthy and also tasty, if, of course, it is cooked correctly. Try the catfish fillet diet dishes, you will feel light and at the same time will not go hungry.
Baked catfish fillet
Ingredients:
- 800 g of catfish fillet;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 1 onion;
- 1 small lemon;
- 3/4 tsp salt;
- 1/3 tsp each marjoram and dried basil;
- vegetable oil.
Rinse the catfish fillets well, dry and rub with salt and spices. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice out of one onto the fish. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then put it on a heat-resistant foil greased with vegetable oil. Peel and cut the tomatoes and onion into circles and rings, cover the catfish evenly with them. Sprinkle everything again with lemon juice from the remaining half of the citrus, wrap in foil and bake the dish for half an hour at 180oC.
Catfish fillet soup in pots
Ingredients:
- 500 g of catfish fillet;
- 300 g of potatoes;
- 3 tomatoes;
- 3 bell peppers;
- 1 onion;
- 3 bay leaves;
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- 3 tsp lemon juice;
- 3/4 each black and red ground pepper;
- 1 tsp salt;
- water;
- 50 g of 10-15% sour cream;
- 3 sprigs of parsley and dill.
Wash fish and vegetables. Peel the bell peppers and tomatoes, peel the potatoes and dice them all. Remove the husk from the onion and chop into thin half rings. Divide the catfish fillet, chopped into cubes, and the rest of the ingredients into three ceramic pots in any order. Pour a spoonful of vegetable oil and lemon juice into each of them, put on a bay leaf, add salt and peppers equally.
Fill the crockery with water to 4/5 of its volume, close the lids and place in the oven. Cook catfish fillet soup for 1.5 hours at 180oC. Turn off the heat, but let the pots sit inside for another half hour. Serve the first course straight or pour gently into deep bowls. Add low-fat sour cream and chopped herbs to taste.
Diet kebab of catfish fillet
Ingredients:
- 1.5 kg of catfish fillets;
- 4 tomatoes;
- 3 bell peppers;
- 80 ml of soy sauce;
- 50 ml each of lemon juice and olive oil;
- 1/2 tsp each ground white pepper and oregano;
- salt.
Wash the catfish fillets and pat dry with a paper towel. Place it in a container, salt, season and top with a mixture of soy sauce, lemon juice and olive oil. Marinate the fish for at least half an hour. In the meantime, prepare the vegetables - peel them, cut into large slices and salt.
Cut the fillets into transverse strips 1, 5-2 cm wide. Soak wooden skewers in warm water for 10 minutes, then string sweet peppers, tomatoes and fish pieces on them, folding the thinnest ones in half. Fry the shish kebab on a wire rack in the oven, substituting a tray, for 12-15 minutes at 190-200oC, then turn it over, pour over the leaked juice and simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
