Homemade dumplings are much tastier than those found in the store. However, some people do not take the risk of doing them on their own. They complain that the dough for dumplings is difficult and time-consuming to prepare. In practice, everything is much simpler! There is a classic dough recipe that includes water, flour and eggs. But you can supplement the recipe.
Simple dumpling dough
- 2 cups of flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 glass of water;
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- salt (about half a teaspoon).
Pour flour in a heap. Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Combine them with flour, add salted water and vegetable oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. As a result, you should have a tight dough. You can substitute melted butter for vegetable oil. The dough will end up being more tender.
Dough for dumplings with sour cream
- 3 glasses of flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 glass of water;
- 200 g sour cream;
- salt.
Combine beaten eggs with sour cream, water and salt. Stir the ingredients with a mixer. Start adding flour in small portions, kneading the tough dough. After that, cover it with a damp towel, after an hour you can start sculpting the dumplings themselves.
Boiling water dumplings
- 3 glasses of flour;
- 1 egg;
- 1 glass of boiling water;
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- ½ teaspoon of salt.
Beat the egg and salt, add flour and vegetable oil, mix the ingredients thoroughly. Next, pour in boiling water and knead a tight dough. If the dough is not tight enough, add a little more flour.
Dough for dumplings on kefir
- 1 glass of kefir;
- 300 g flour.
Combine kefir with 0.5 cups of flour, mix thoroughly. Then pour in the rest of the flour, use your hands to knead a tight dough. Put it in the refrigerator for half an hour
