Stores usually sell frozen octopuses, so defrost them at room temperature before cooking them. Then remove the eyes of the octopuses. Turn the carcass inside out. Find and remove the beak and all the entrails. Rinse small octopuses under running water.

Usually 3-5 minutes are enough for this, no more. Chop the bell peppers. Put it in a salad bowl. Add chili sauce, herbs and freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pepper. Put the fried octopuses on this mass and mix everything. The dish can be served both warm and cold.
