Children and adults adore chocolate spread. It can be eaten both as an independent dish and used as a glaze for cakes and pies. Of course, now in the store there are a lot of different chocolate spreads, but the pasta made with your own hands is much tastier. Moreover, when the pasta is homemade, it is known for sure that there are no harmful additives in it.
It is necessary
-
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 3 glasses of milk
- 1 bag of vanillin (vanilla sugar)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare jars where you will pour the finished pasta. Sterilize them (steam with a saucepan, in a double boiler, microwave, oven, or simply scald with boiling water). The jars should be sterilized so that they do not burst from the hot paste.
Step 2
In a saucepan (preferably aluminum), combine all dry ingredients (sugar, cocoa, flour and vanillin). Stir. Gradually add the milk and mix the mixture well again. If necessary, strain the mixture to remove any lumps. Remember that the mixture must be smooth!
Step 3
Add butter and put on low heat. Stir constantly so that no lumps form in the mixture and so that the paste does not burn, as the mixture thickens quickly, especially at the bottom.
Step 4
If you wish, you can add chopped nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts) or dried fruits. You can grind the nuts with a coffee grinder. The fineness depends on your preference. It is better to dry the nuts in advance in the oven. Dry for about 10-15 minutes, the oven temperature should be medium. Mix the resulting mixture well.
Step 5
Cook until the whole mass is thick, but do not boil it. As soon as you see the first bubble, turn it off!
Step 6
As soon as you turn off the heat, immediately pour into the jars. Don't hesitate as the paste hardens quickly! It turns out about 850 gr. But just in case, prepare another jar in reserve. Remember that hot pasta has more volume than thickened pasta. The chocolate is ready. Enjoy your tea!
