The name cake-pop in translation from English means "cake on a stick". In fact, this is not a cake at all, but rather a cake that has a round shape and is worn on a special stick. Cute and unusual cakes, similar to lollipops, look very impressive and therefore look great on the festive table.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 110-115 g flour
- - 75 g butter
- - 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar
- - 2 1/2 tbsp. spoons of milk
- - 1 tbsp. spoon (no slide) cocoa powder
- - 1 egg
- - a pinch of baking powder
- For decoration:
- - 50 g dark chocolate
- - 50 g milk chocolate
- - orange jam
- - confectionery sprinkles
- Moreover:
- - special plastic sticks for cake pops
Instructions
Step 1
Put butter, milk and cocoa with sugar in a saucepan, put on medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, to get a homogeneous mass. Let cool and beat in an egg. Stir again.
Step 2
Add sifted wheat flour and a pinch of baking powder. Knead a not very thick chocolate dough. Place in a greased pan lined with parchment. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180C. Check doneness with a toothpick.
Step 3
Wipe the cooled cake with your hands into crumbs. Add the jam gradually to make a sticky mass. Form into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll on a smooth surface such as a glass cutting board.
Step 4
Take regular toothpicks and punch holes in the blanks up to about the middle. Melt some chocolate (not all of it) in a water bath or in a microwave oven, dip special sticks for cake pops one and a half centimeters in it and insert into the recesses.
Step 5
Place the chocolate brownies in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Melt any remaining chocolate, dip the cake pops in it, and garnish with pastry sprinkles. Keep in the refrigerator until the glaze hardens.
