The coffee cake has an original taste and rich aroma thanks to the instant coffee that is added to the dough. The recipe is very simple, so it is suitable for both beginners and experienced housewives who want to cook something new for a change.

It is necessary

  • Kefir - 1/2 cup
  • Instant coffee - 3 teaspoons,
  • Egg - 2 pieces,
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Butter - 100 grams,
  • Flour - 1 glass
  • Baking powder (1 teaspoon) or baking soda (1/2 teaspoon).

Instructions

Step 1

First, put the butter (100 grams) in a warm place so that it becomes soft, or, alternatively, melt the butter over a fire.

Step 2

In a deep container, beat eggs (2 pieces) with sugar (1 glass) using a whisk or spoon.

Step 3

Add softened (or melted) butter to the resulting mixture and beat again.

Step 4

Add 3 teaspoons of instant coffee to half a glass of kefir, mix. If you are a coffee lover, you can add a little more.

Step 5

Pour kefir with dissolved coffee into the egg mass, stir actively.

Step 6

Add flour (1 cup) and baking powder (1 teaspoon) or soda (1/2 teaspoon), mix until smooth.

Step 7

Grease the bowl of the multicooker with butter, if you wish, you can also sprinkle it with semolina, then the cake will have a crispy crust.

Step 8

Put the dough into the multicooker bowl and set the "Baking" mode.

Step 9

We remove the finished cake from the multicooker using a steamer. You can decorate the top with chocolate icing, but the cake is already beautiful by adding coffee.
