Chinese cabbage appeared on our shelves not so long ago, but people have already fallen in love with it. This variety is one of the most useful, since it is rich in carotene, vitamin C, folic acid and B vitamins, is well digested and improves bowel function, therefore it has successfully entered the diet of baby food.

It is necessary

  • - 300-400 grams of beef;
  • - Chinese cabbage;
  • - 1 medium onion;
  • - 1 tomato;
  • - 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
  • - 50 grams of butter;
  • - 2 tbsp. l. rice;
  • - salt;
  • - greens.

Instructions

Step 1

If you have a piece of fresh beef and Chinese cabbage in the fridge, indulge your little one with an interesting dish - cabbage rolls. To do this, wash the beef and boil in salted water until cooked. Scroll the meat through a meat grinder, use a fine-grained attachment (if available).

Step 2

Take a couple tablespoons of rice and rinse thoroughly under running water. Then fill with water and put on a low heat, cover with a lid. After the water has boiled, add salt to taste.

Step 3

Wash the Chinese cabbage or remove a few of the top leaves. Separate the required number of cabbage leaves (depending on the amount of cabbage rolls being cooked), while trying to cut off the dense ends (the so-called stump). Boil water in a small saucepan, add salt, and lower the sheets for five to six minutes. Gently remove the boiled cabbage from the boiling water using a slotted spoon, let the excess liquid drain and cool naturally.

Take one medium onion, peel and chop finely. Put a frying pan on the fire and add a small amount of vegetable oil, add the onion and sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Rinse one medium tomato thoroughly under warm running water. Peel it by making cross-shaped cuts on the tomato and pour boiling water over it. After a couple of minutes, transfer the tomato to a bowl of cold water, so the skin will come off without much difficulty. Grate the tomato or chop it in a blender and send it to the pan with the onion. Cook for three to five minutes.

Step 6

Separate three Chinese cabbage leaves, chop finely and mix with chopped beef. Add fried onions with tomato and boiled rice to the mixture. Mix everything thoroughly, add spices to taste.

Step 7

Spread the leaves of Chinese cabbage (carefully so as not to tear), put a tablespoon of the prepared minced meat on each, wrap. Fry the cabbage rolls in a skillet with butter for a few minutes on each side. Then pour the beef broth (in which the meat was cooked), add the herbs, cover and simmer over low heat for 10-20 minutes. Serve the finished dish with fresh sour cream.
