Easter eggs differ from ordinary eggs in their bright color. The traditional color of the shell is red, as this is what is mentioned in church scripture, but many housewives use other colors as well. At home, you can paint eggs in various ways.

Step 1
For a rich tan color, use onion peels. However, the use of red onion varieties gives the shell a shade of purple. A lot of husk is required, since the brightness of the resulting color depends on its amount. Boil the husk in a saucepan with water, then boil the eggs in this infusion. You can diversify the appearance of eggs painted in this way using vegetable oil. If you rub the shell with it, it will become shiny.
Step 2
Red can be obtained with beets. To do this, boil eggs for Easter along with beets, peeled and well washed from the ground, cut into pieces. Cooking time is 25-30 minutes.
Step 3
Green colored eggs are obtained with a brilliant green solution. Add brilliant green to the water and stir until a uniform color is obtained. Submerge the eggs in the water so that they are completely covered by the liquid. After a couple of hours, it remains to take out the eggs and let them dry. The only drawback of this technique is that the brilliant green gets a little dirty.
Step 4
In a similar way, a pink color is obtained by boiling eggs in a solution of ordinary potassium permanganate. The brighter the solution, the thicker the final color will be.
Step 5
Golden eggs can be obtained by boiling them in turmeric solution. A small saucepan will require a couple of teaspoons of the spice, but the color will not be too intense.
Step 6
If you boil eggs in natural coffee, the shell will turn brown.
Step 7
Patterned eggs are obtained by wrapping them in pieces of fabric that sheds. The flaps on the shell are fastened with a thread or elastic band. When boiling eggs for a quarter of an hour, multi-colored stains will turn out on the shell.
