The most popular type of meat for cooking is pork. There are a myriad of recipes for great dishes from this meat. Many people love meat on the bone, which is not surprising, pork on the bone baked in the oven is an incredibly tasty dish. Probably, every housewife has her own signature recipe for its preparation, her own special ingredient that gives the dish a unique taste and aroma.
Pork bone with vegetables
It is necessary:
- portioned piece of meat;
- 2 medium potatoes;
- 2 sweet peppers;
- olive oil;
- Worcester sauce;
- garlic;
- red balsamic vinegar;
- lemon;
- dried basil;
- salt pepper.
Rinse the meat thoroughly before cooking. Then prepare the marinade. To do this, sprinkle the pork with lemon juice, wine vinegar and Worcester sauce, grate with garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Preheat the oven to maximum temperature and place the meat in it for 20 minutes.
While the meat is cooking, you can do the vegetables. Peel the potatoes and peppers by cutting the potatoes in half and the peppers in quarters. Grease a baking sheet with olive oil and, putting the vegetables on it, put it in the oven for 20 minutes.
Before serving, put vegetables on a dish, salt, put the meat in the center, sprinkled with finely chopped basil herbs.
Pork bone with oranges
It is necessary:
- a kilogram of portioned pieces of pork on the bone;
- 4 oranges;
- lemon;
- 200 g pitted olives;
- 5 cloves of garlic;
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable broth;
- 2 tablespoons of honey;
- 1 spoonful of starch;
- a teaspoon of dry thyme;
- salt pepper.
Rinse the meat. Peel and cut one orange into slices, peel off the second in a spiral shape, and squeeze the juice from the rest. Squeeze juice from the lemon, mix it with orange and pour over the meat. Add two cloves of garlic, chopped into wedges, and marinate for a couple of hours. After the allotted time, dry the meat with a paper towel.
Crush the remaining garlic and mix with the honey and thyme. Salt the meat, season with pepper and rub well with the resulting honey-garlic mixture. The meat will be cooked in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for an hour. Then add the remaining marinade, vegetable broth, chopped orange, zest and olives to the pork and cook for another 60 minutes. At the end of cooking, dilute the starch with a little water and pour over the meat.
Pork in tomato sauce
It is necessary:
- 2 identical pieces of pork on the bone;
- 1 lemon;
- 1 onion;
- 4 mushrooms;
- 200 g tomato paste;
- 50 g flour;
- 30 g of fat;
- bay leaves, salt, pepper, spices.
Rinse the meat thoroughly, rub with spices, salt, pepper and pour with lemon juice. In a well-preheated oven, fry the pieces until golden brown. For the tomato sauce, chop the onion and champignons, simmer them with tomato paste. In a second skillet, fry the flour until golden brown, mix it with the broth and add to the sauteed vegetables. Simmer for 20 minutes, add salt and bay leaves at the end of cooking. Before serving, pour the prepared meat with the resulting sauce; vegetables and herbs will be an excellent side dish for such meat.
