All French dishes are distinguished by their sophistication and piquancy, and pastries are no exception. I suggest you make a very interesting and delicious cinnamon puff pastry cookie called "Palmiers".
It is necessary
- - sugar - 1 glass;
- - salt - a pinch;
- - ground cinnamon - 2 teaspoons;
- - puff pastry - 240 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine the following in a loose bowl: salt, ground cinnamon and granulated sugar. Mix these ingredients thoroughly with each other. Pour some of the resulting dry mass onto the work surface and roll out the finished puff pastry on it so that you get a thin rectangular layer, the size of which is 30 x 37 centimeters.
Step 2
Pour the remnants of the dry mixture onto the surface of the rectangle rolled out of dough so that it is evenly distributed over it. Wrap each of the long sides towards the center, like a roll. Do this procedure, trying to wrap the dough tightly enough.
Step 3
Taking a sharp knife, cut this kind of roll into small pieces, the thickness of which is approximately equal to one centimeter. Thus, you will get figures that resemble "ears".
Step 4
To bake this number of ears, you will need 2 baking sheets. Cover each with baking paper or silicone mats. Place the future cookies on the baking sheets so that there is sufficient distance between them.
Step 5
Place the baking sheets with "ears" in the oven, preheated to a temperature of 220 degrees, until the color of the baking turns golden brown, that is, for about 10-12 minutes. When the treat is completely done, transfer it from the baking dish to the wire rack. Serve the cooled dessert with tea. Palmiers cookies are ready!
