If you want to check the quality of the oil you just bought, then first of all you should pay attention to its color. In high-quality butter, it will not be yellow, but snow-white. The product, which has a rich yellowness, is obtained by adding all kinds of dyes.

Place the butter in the freezer after purchase. When the food is frozen, try cutting it off. High-quality butter is made without the addition of vegetable fats, so in this case it should be broken off in chunks, and not cut into even slices.

You can also check the quality of the butter by leaving it at room temperature for a while. A quality product will remain firm for about half an hour. If the butter melted in 5 minutes, then it’s not butter at all, but real margarine!

You can determine the quality of butter by looking at how it melts in a hot skillet. If during this procedure a sufficiently large amount of foam occurs, then such a product contains a lot of milk whey, and not milk fat. Such oil is suitable for food, but it is not recommended to use it for baking.

Everyone knows that natural products spoil quite quickly. Butter is no exception to this rule. If this product is stored in your refrigerator for a long enough time, without changing either color or smell, it means that it is stuffed with all kinds of preservatives.
