Jasmine rice with a creamy, vanilla flavor is ideal for this delicious dessert. It is better not to use other rice - such a delicacy will no longer work. Ready-made dessert roll with rice and prunes can be served for breakfast.
It is necessary
- - 600 g of prunes;
- - 500 ml of milk;
- - 250 g of rice "Jasmine";
- - 200 g cream 35% fat;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 50 g of coconut flakes;
- - 8 g vanilla sugar;
- - 2 oranges;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of rum;
- - 2 teaspoons of gelatin.
Instructions
Step 1
First, boil the steep porridge. To do this, rinse the rice, pour in hot milk, simmer under a lid for 15-20 minutes. Then add sugar, coconut flakes to hot rice porridge, add a little vanilla sugar for flavor, stir, cool completely.
Step 2
Rinse the prunes well, wash the oranges too. Remove the zest from the oranges, squeeze the juice from the two fruits. Grind in a blender or grind in a meat grinder prunes with orange zest and 2 tbsp. spoons of rum, get a homogeneous mass. Soak the gelatin in 50 ml of orange juice, stir the swollen gelatin into the prune mass, mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Now whisk the cream until medium thick and gently stir into the rice-coconut porridge.
Step 4
Cover the work surface with cling film, put the prune mass on it with a rectangle measuring 20x30 cm, put rice-coconut porridge on top of the mass. Using the film, wrap the roll, wrap it in several layers of film, put it in the refrigerator for 6 hours, or better leave the roll there overnight. It remains only to cut the finished dessert roll with rice and prunes into portions and serve.
