Korean carrots, carrots, as Koreans themselves call it, are one of the favorite snacks in our country. And then it is not surprising, because it has a bright piquant taste, increases appetite and improves digestion. Carrots do not lend themselves to heat treatment, therefore they retain all their useful substances. Many people are used to buying carrots in stores or in the market, but you can cook it at home!
It is necessary
- - Carrots - 1 kg;
- - Onions - 1 pc.;
- - Acetic essence 40% - 1 tsp;
- - Small cucumber - 1 pc. (optional);
- - Ground black pepper - 1 pinch;
- - Ground coriander (cilantro) - 0.5 tsp;
- - Fresh cilantro - 0.5 bunch;
- - Fresh dill - 0.5 bunch;
- - Garlic - 3 cloves;
- - Soy sauce - 1 tbsp. l.;
- - Sunflower oil - 3 tbsp. l.;
- - Salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater. Peel the garlic and chop finely. Chop the dill and cilantro. If desired, take a small cucumber and cut into small pieces.
Step 2
In a large bowl, stir in the grated carrots, garlic, cucumber, and herbs. Add salt to taste, black pepper, ground coriander and vinegar.
Step 3
Peel the onion and chop finely. Preheat a frying pan, pour in sunflower oil. Place the onion in it and sauté until it becomes translucent.
Step 4
When the onions have cooled, place them in the bowl next to the carrots, add the soy sauce and mix well together.
Step 5
Let the contents of the bowl steep a little. In an hour, the Korean carrots will be ready. Serve it for lunch, dinner, salads or a homemade hot dog.
