  • Crab sticks - 1 standard package (200-250 grams);

  • Boiled rice - 50 grams;

  • Greens - 30 grams.

First of all, rice is boiled in a lot of salted water. Raw rice will take about 1 tablespoon. It is very important not to overcook it, otherwise the crab salad will turn into porridge. It is better not to cook the product slightly, drain the water from it and leave to infuse warm. In this way, the rice will quickly reach perfect cooking by itself. Eggs are hard boiled - within 10 minutes after boiling water.

Crab sticks, eggs and herbs are finely chopped. It is best to take a bunch of assorted greens, consisting of green onions, dill and parsley. Fresh cilantro and any other aromatic herbs can also be used. Dried ingredients are not a good choice for a delicious crab salad. Canned corn is folded back in a colander and then dried thoroughly. Some housewives add real boiled crab to such an appetizer. But it is too expensive for an ordinary cook. Therefore, crab salad with crab sticks is most often prepared.

It remains only to mix all the ingredients, and then add salt and mayonnaise to them. To taste, you can lightly pepper the appetizer. You can serve crab salad right away without insisting. Only if the ingredients of the snack have not yet cooled down after cooking, it is worth sending it to the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes and after that treat the guests.
