Prepare a real "Soft roasted nuts" at home!
It is necessary
- - 100 g of honey;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 1 tablespoon without top of cocoa powder;
- - 150 g of shelled walnuts;
- - 1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice;
- - 50 g butter at room temperature;
- - 150 g of dark chocolate.
Instructions
Step 1
Put the walnuts in a bag, wrap them in a towel and chop them by rolling a rolling pin over them. You can also use a hammer or special grinder.
Step 2
Put the nut, cocoa powder, sugar and honey, chopped into medium crumbs in a saucepan. Keep in mind that depending on the sweetness of the honey, you may need less or more!
Step 3
Turn on the burner over low heat and, stirring constantly so that the mass does not burn, bring to a boil. Keep on fire, not forgetting to stir, for 10 minutes. Then remove from the stove, pour in the lemon juice and stir.
Step 4
Add butter (pre-chop with a knife into pieces to speed up the process) and mix again. Cool first at room temperature and then another hour in the refrigerator.
Step 5
Line the board with parchment paper or foil. Remove the mass from the cold and, wetting your hands with cold water, roll up balls the size of walnuts and spread on a prepared board. Place the board in the cold for about an hour.
Step 6
Melt the chocolate in a water bath and glaze the candy with two spoons or a torch. Send it back to the refrigerator to set the frosting. If desired, the sweets can be decorated with, for example, nut sprinkles.
