Pancakes are one of the most traditional dishes of Russian cuisine. What could be better than fluffy crispy pancakes for breakfast or dinner? Even if you keep an eye on your figure, you don't have to give up your favorite treat. Root apple pancakes are an easy, vitamin and low-calorie meal for the whole family.

- 500 g apples;
- 300 g flour;
- 2 eggs;
- 500 g of parsnip roots;
- 100 g cream;
- 100 g of vegetable oil;
- salt to taste.

Step 1
For making apple pancakes with roots, any kind of fruit is suitable. Sweet varieties include "Golden Kitayka", "Red Delicious", "Golden", "Gala" and so on. If apples with sourness are to your taste, give preference to Antonovka. Rinse the fruit under running water, peel, core and grate on a fine grater.
Step 2
Rinse the parsnip roots thoroughly, peel and grate as well. Combine the parsnip with the grated apple in a deep bowl. Take two eggs and add them to the apple-parsnip mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add flour, cream and salt to a bowl. Stir until a homogeneous semi-liquid mass is formed.
Step 3
Put the pan on the fire, add vegetable oil and wait until the pan is heated to the desired temperature. Then spoon the apple-parsnip mixture in portions. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
Step 4
Serve the roasted apple pancakes hot. Some people prefer to use pancakes with sour cream or honey. By the way, it will take you no more than 40 minutes to prepare such a dish.
