Bananas are very healthy fruits that are loved by both adults and children. You can make a huge number of different desserts from them, for example, cakes, cocktails, salads, and most importantly, incredibly delicious ice cream.
To make banana ice cream you will need:
- 100 g of dates;
- 300 ml heavy cream;
- 2 eggs;
- a tablespoon of sugar;
- 3 ripe bananas.
So, first of all, you need to peel the bananas, and remove the seeds from the dates. Then put these ingredients in a blender and make a smooth puree from them. It is worth remembering that only ripe bananas are suitable for the preparation of this dessert.
The next step is whipping cream. You need to pour 200 ml of cream into a container, add sugar and beat well to get a very dense foam. Before whipping, it is advisable to hold the bowl of cream and whisk from the mixer in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
Now pour the remaining cream into a saucepan and put it in a water bath. Separate the yolks from the proteins, grind them well, pour into the cream and mix. Everything, the pan can be removed from the heat and let its contents cool.
Next, you need to mix everything. Add whipped cream and banana-date mixture to the cooled egg-cream mixture, stir gently so that the cream does not settle.
The last stage is ice cream freezing. If you have an ice cream maker, then you can use it, but if you do not have one, then the dessert can be frozen in the freezer by placing a container of ice cream in it for two to three hours. In this case, it is worth remembering that in order for the ice cream to turn out to be tender, it must be taken out and whipped with a mixer every 15-20 minutes.
