The most popular are strawberries, gooseberries, grapes, oranges and lemons. Indispensable in the decoration of carambola. The ribbed fruit is cut into transverse slices and beautiful stars are obtained that look very decorative.

To keep the fruit firmly on the surface of the cake, lay them on a layer of cream. For fruit cakes, dense creams are ideal - custard or butter, as well as a variety of soufflés with the addition of gelatin.

Try to make a cake decorated with different fruits. Place the pre-prepared shortbread dough in a round detachable form and carefully distribute it along the bottom and walls. Let the mixture cool and pour over the fruit. The finished cake should stand until the jelly hardens on its surface.

A cake decorated with fruit has a drawback - it is inconvenient to cut. To make it easier for yourself, cut the cake into neat slices in advance, and only then start decorating. Thus, it is worth preparing biscuit cakes. First, use a deep metal notch to cut out the middle, and then divide the cake into even segments. Such a portioned dessert looks very beautiful on the festive table.
Step 9
You can also use fruit boiled in syrup to decorate the cake. To make them translucent, the fruits are boiled in 4-5 steps using concentrated sugar syrup. The finished fruit must be removed from the filling and dried on a wire rack, and then spread on the cake. Similarly, you can cook pears, apples, quince and other hard fruits.
