Cabbage and potato casserole

Ingredients:

- 400 g of white cabbage;

- 250 g of potatoes;

- 2 chicken eggs;

- 1 onion;

- 20 g butter;

- 50 g bread crumbs;

- salt;

- vegetable oil.

Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings, chop the cabbage. Saute everything over medium heat in vegetable oil until deeply browned and soft, cool. Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater. Combine all vegetables in one bowl, cover with eggs, mix well and salt to taste.

Preheat oven to 180oC. Spread butter on a small baking dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Put the cabbage-potato "dough" into it, smooth the surface with the back of a spoon. Cook the casserole for 15-20 minutes.

Cabbage and potato cutlets with egg sauce

Ingredients:

- 300 g of white cabbage;

- 300 g of potatoes;

- 1 chicken egg;

- 2 onions;

- 60 g of flour and bread crumbs;

- 20 g butter;

- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper;

- salt;

- vegetable oil;

For the sauce:

- 2 hard-boiled chicken eggs;

- 200 ml of milk;

- 15 g butter;

- 40 g flour;

- 2 sprigs of dill.

Chop cabbage and onion into strips and simmer for 5-7 minutes in a pan in a little water or vegetable oil. Boil peeled potatoes and mash thoroughly with a puree press. Let both masses cool, stir them together, season with pepper and salt. Stir in the egg, melted butter and flour. Form patties, roll in breadcrumbs and fry until crisp at medium heat.

Make the sauce. Place a lump of butter in a skillet and melt. Add flour and fry it until light brown, add warm milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly, and cook until thickened. Remove the shells from the eggs, grind finely with a fork and mix with the base of the sauce. Serve the patties with egg gravy and sprinkle with chopped dill.

Warm salad of eggs, cabbage and potatoes

Ingredients:

- 3 boiled chicken eggs;

- 250 g of white cabbage;

- 6 potatoes;

- 200 g of bacon;

- 2 pickled cucumbers;

- 20 g of parsley;

- 1 tbsp. mustard;

- 3-4 tbsp. mayonnaise;

- salt.

Boil the potatoes in their skins, remove the skins and cut the vegetable into cubes. Fry the strips of bacon, place in a bowl and simmer the shredded cabbage in the remaining fat for 10 minutes. Chop eggs and parsley coarsely. Cut the pickled cucumbers into strips. Put everything in a deep salad bowl, stir with mayonnaise and mustard and salt.
