Lamb in pomegranate marinade turns out to be incredibly soft, juicy and aromatic. I suggest preparing this dish on the grill or charcoal. The specified amount of food is enough for 3-4 servings.

- - lamb (fillet) - 1 kg;
- - grenades - 0.5 kg;
- - garlic - 6 cloves;
- - vegetable oil - 5 tbsp. l.;
- - lemon - 1 pc.;
- - onion - 1 head;
- - tomatoes - 3 pcs.;
- - salt - 1 tsp;
- - ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp;
- - red ground pepper - a pinch.
Instructions
Step 1
Preparing meat. Rinse the lamb with water, dry. Remove films from meat. Cut the fillets into small pieces.
Step 2
Cooking the marinade. Rinse the pomegranates with water, remove the seeds. Leave some for decoration. Grind the rest of the pomegranate seeds with a blender. Strain through a fine sieve. You should make about 1 cup of pomegranate juice.
Step 3
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Peel the garlic and chop very finely. In a ceramic bowl, combine pomegranate and lemon juice, vegetable oil, garlic, add salt and pepper. The marinade is ready.
Step 4
Pour the prepared meat with marinade, stir, put the lamb in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
Step 5
When the meat is marinated, grill it until tender. Drizzle with marinade during frying.
Step 6
Cut the onion into thin rings, the tomatoes into slices. Place a few pieces of meat on a serving plate, garnish with onion rings, tomatoes and pomegranate seeds. The dish is ready.
