Each housewife has her own secret cooking method, but the way it is served is just as important to success. When we look at culinary magazines, we are surprised how simple and original it is to decorate an ordinary everyday dish and thus please our loved ones. We offer you an unusual way of serving salad.
It is necessary
- - two briquettes of ready-made puff pastry;
- - orange food coloring or one egg yolk;
- - salad of your choice;
- - a bunch of greens, you can take dill or lettuce leaves.
Instructions
Step 1
Take metal straw baking cones. Roll out the dough well and cut into 6 strips. In order for the dough to be crispy and layered well, before cutting, roll it out several times in a thin layer and fold it in an envelope, then roll it again. The more times you roll it, the crispier the dough will become when baking.
Step 2
Roll each strip you cut out very thinly and wrap it around the oiled cone.
Step 3
Mix food coloring with a little water and brush the surface of the future straws with a cooking brush. Instead of dye, egg yolk or paprika diluted in water is great.
Step 4
Bake until tender for 20 minutes and remove the resulting tubes from the cones. Any salad you like will serve as a filler for such tubes. Take a cooking bag, fill it with lettuce, widen the outlet to let the lettuce pass well under pressure, and refill the tubes. It remains only to decorate the top of the tubes with herbs and the original "carrots" are ready. Bon Appetit.
