If you want to stuff fish, then choose carp. It is the best option as it has a delicate taste and reasonable price. Carp stuffed with buckwheat will decorate any festive table.
It is necessary
- - medium-sized carp - 2 pieces;
- - buckwheat groats - 1/2 cup;
- - large onions - 2 pcs;
- - garlic - 2 cloves;
- - sour cream - 200 g;
- - bread crumbs;
- - pepper;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you need to clean the fish. Then, after making a longitudinal cut from the tail to the head, remove all the insides. Next, use scissors to remove the gills of the carp. Thoroughly rinse the fish not only outside, but also inside, that is, in the open abdomen. With a knife, cuts should be made on both sides so that they form something like a mesh.
Step 2
Sort the groats thoroughly, then heat them in a pan for a minute, stirring continuously. Pour one glass of water into a saucepan, add salt and put it on fire. When it boils, dip the buckwheat in it and cook until it absorbs all the water.
Step 3
In a separate skillet, fry the onion, chopped in half rings, until golden brown. Add it, chopped garlic and 2 tablespoons of sour cream in a bowl with buckwheat. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
Stuff the fish with the resulting buckwheat mixture so that the filling is evenly distributed. Try to fit it as tightly as possible.
Step 5
Season the stuffed fish with salt and pepper. Then roll it in breadcrumbs on all sides and place on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and send the dish to bake. When a quarter of an hour has passed, the fish must be pulled out in order to grease with sour cream. After this procedure, put it back in the oven and bake for exactly 15 minutes. Carp stuffed with buckwheat is ready!
