Polissya bream is a fairly common recipe in Polissya, which is prepared by almost every housewife. And no wonder! After all, fish marinated in homemade mayonnaise, as well as baked with vegetables and basil, turns out to be very tender, tasty, aromatic. Its exquisite taste makes a person forget about the presence of fish seeds and just enjoy the dish.

It is necessary

  • 1 bream;
  • 1 large carrot;
  • 2 onions;
  • 250 ml of sunflower oil;
  • 1 egg;
  • 4 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tbsp. l. water;
  • 1 bunch of parsley;
  • ½ tsp salt;
  • 1 tsp Sahara;
  • 1 tsp mustard;
  • a couple of sprigs of green basil;
  • 2 tsp lemon juice.

Instructions

Step 1

We clean the fish from the scales and remove the insides. Wash it thoroughly inside and out so that there are no excess scales and black films that give bitterness. Throughout the carcass, we make incisions with a depth of 0.5-1 cm.

Step 2

Drive an egg into one container, add sugar, salt, mustard, water, lemon juice and 200 ml of sunflower oil. We put all this in a container in exactly the same sequence as written in the recipe. Beat everything with a blender at maximum speed and get a thick homemade mayonnaise.

Step 3

Pass the chives through a garlic dish, chop the parsley with a knife. Throw in mayonnaise and beat until smooth.

Step 4

Spread the bream abundantly with cooked mayonnaise and leave to marinate for half an hour.

Step 5

Chop the onion into thin half rings, three carrots on a fine grater. Chop the basil with a knife. Mix vegetables and basil, salt, pepper and sauté in sunflower oil.

Step 6

Spread a piece of foil on a baking sheet and grease it with oil. Stuff the bream with the vegetable mass and put it on the foil. We wrap the edges of the foil slightly, imitating a boat.

Step 7

We bake in the oven for about half an hour at 200-220 degrees. Trying for readiness.

Step 8

We take out the bream from the oven and cut into portions, guided by the incisions. Serve with fresh vegetables, mayonnaise and herbs. You can use mashed potatoes as a side dish.
