Another way to blanch peanuts is to simply pour boiling water over the nuts and let them sit for a few minutes. Then drain the water and transfer the peanuts to a dry towel. Now roll up the towel and rub a little; the peanut skin should come off.

You can blanch the nuts in the oven or microwave. Simply place the nuts on a platter, place them in the oven and set the temperature to 180 ° C. Remove the nuts after 20-25 minutes. The peanuts will be roasted in the oven, and the skin will peel off by itself. Rub the peanuts together for the best effect. Then choose clean nuts and discard the husks.

Set the microwave to medium power. Roast the peanuts for about 5 minutes. Then take it out: if the peel comes off, then the nuts are ready. You can microwave the peanuts for another three minutes if the husk does not come off well.

How to use blanched peanuts?

Peanuts are often used in the preparation of muffins, rolls, cakes. To bake a cake called "Snickers" you will need: 250 g of wheat flour, 2 chicken eggs, 130 g of brown sugar, 10 g of vanilla sugar, 120 g of butter, 120 ml of milk, 1 can of boiled condensed milk, 1.5 tsp. l. baking powder, 0.5 tsp. salt, 60 g milk chocolate, 60 grams blanched and roasted peanuts, 5 tbsp. l. cream 35%.

Remove eggs, condensed milk, butter, milk from the refrigerator: they should be at room temperature. Turn on the oven at + 170 ° C. Divide the condensed milk into two parts. Leave 200 g for decoration, and whisk 100 g until smooth with butter. Pour half the milk into the mixture and whisk. Beat eggs with brown and vanilla sugar for 2-3 minutes. Combine the condensed milk with the egg mass. Mix flour with salt and baking powder and sift. Add flour to dough, add peanuts and pour in remaining milk.

Now grease the pan with butter, put the dough in it and flatten. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden toothpick or skewer. To prepare the decoration, mix 200 g of boiled condensed milk, 5 tbsp. l. cream and melted milk chocolate. If you add peanuts to the mixture, you get a real snickers. When the cake is ready, decorate the top with this mixture. You can also do this: first, pour chocolate on the cake, and sprinkle peanuts on top. Send the cake to the refrigerator to harden the decoration.
