Chicken liver is an amateur dish. Each housewife has her own secret of her preparation. Delicious, tender, incredibly juicy, and, importantly, the quick-cooked liver according to this recipe is liked by absolutely everyone.
It is necessary
- 500 grams of chicken liver;
- 10 medium potatoes;
- sour cream;
- onion;
- carrot;
- mustard.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop potatoes, onions and carrots and send them to fry in olive oil in a large frying pan. Cut potatoes and onions into cubes, carrots, if desired, can be grated on a coarse grater or cut into cubes.

It is desirable that the liver is slightly frozen, then it will be easier to cut it into neat cubes.

Add spices to taste and quite a bit of mustard to the chopped liver. Literally half a teaspoon is enough. If you want an obvious hot mustard flavor in your dish, you can add a little more or add a sharp accent with black pepper.

Then add three tablespoons of low-fat sour cream. Mix all this thoroughly and leave to soak. There is enough time while our potatoes are fried, the liver is quite enough to marinate.
Step 5
Potatoes with vegetables must be fried over high heat, until a crust appears. Since then, when we add the liver there, it will go into stewing mode.
Step 6
When a golden crust appears on the potatoes, and for this 20 minutes are enough, you can add the liver. Mix everything thoroughly, reduce the heat and cook for another 30 minutes under a closed lid.
The dish is served hot. Fresh or slightly stewed vegetables complement the flavor composition in a very original way.
