It takes very little effort to cook delicious marinade mackerel. Here is a quick and easy way to cook fish that the household will eat in just a few minutes.
Choose frozen fish for cooking. It is very greasy, and you don't need to wait long to defrost it - the process is quick. Mackerel is more often sold already gutted and decapitated. Wait until it thaws a little, then rinse the carcass, free it from films and the rest of the intestines in the belly, remove the tail and fins. Then place the mackerel back in the refrigerator to keep it from softening.
To prepare the marinade, for 4 fish, you will need two large onions, 4 cloves of garlic, about a tablespoon of salt. If you like salted fish, you can take more salt. Sunflower oil, unrefined - two tablespoons, nine percent vinegar - three tablespoons, sugar - a small spoon. Spices: 10 pieces of bay leaves, the same number of peppercorns, a teaspoon of black ground pepper.
Peel the onion and cut into thin strips. Chop the garlic and mix with the onion. Crumble the bay leaf there. In another container, combine sugar, pepper and salt. It is better to crush allspice a little. Remove the fish from the refrigerator and cut into pieces.
Now mix everything prepared in advance in a large bowl with the fish. Add oil and vinegar, stir, let stand for no more than five minutes outside the refrigerator and try to tamp the pieces well. It is not necessary to keep it longer - it will turn into porridge. Cover the fish with a smaller diameter lid or plate so that it applies pressure to the pieces. On top, you can put something else heavy, for example, a jar filled with water.
Then the dishes with fish are placed in the refrigerator. You can eat it in a day, but some believe that pickled mackerel is tastier on the second day. Serve with boiled potatoes.
