But no factory baked goods can fill the house with the amazing and unique aroma of homemade bread, which can be prepared with your favorite additives. For bread cakes, rather hearty fillings are used: cheese, ham, egg, the taste of which is enhanced with the help of aromatic herbs, citrus zest, olives and olives. In this case, yeast dough is prepared in a safe way, which significantly reduces the time for its preparation. It is necessary

  • For the test
  • - fast acting yeast 8 g or fresh 40 g
  • - water or milk 400 g
  • - flour 500-600 g
  • - granulated sugar 2 tsp
  • - coarse salt 0.5 tsp.
  • - olive or sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.
  • For filling
  • - hard cheese 100 g
  • - 12 olives
  • - semolina 1 tbsp. l.
  • - sea salt 0.5 tsp

Instructions

Step 1

Mix the yeast with 250 g of flour, sugar and salt in a saucepan or bowl large enough to allow the dough to grow.

Step 2

Gradually add warm water or milk, pour in olive or sunflower oil.

Step 3

Knead the dough well for about 10-15 minutes, adding the remaining flour. The finished yeast dough should be soft and firm.

Step 4

Place the dough in a warm place and leave for 1-1, 2 hours, so that it becomes approximately doubled.

Step 5

For the filling, cut the olives into 6-8 parts, grate the cheese. Mix semolina with grated cheese.

Step 6

When the dough has "come up", it must be divided into three parts. Divide every third into two flat cakes. Add chopped olives to one third and knead slightly again. Sprinkle the other two cakes into circles, sprinkle with coarse sea salt. Third two - sprinkle with a mixture of cheese and semolina.

Step 7

Make different cuts for each type of cake. Sprinkle with flour and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes before baking.

Step 8

Preheat the oven to 220˚C, put a container with water on the bottom shelf of the oven, which will generate steam, due to which the cakes will rise.

Step 9

Place a baking sheet with tortillas in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. The finished tortillas should have a golden crust.
