The taste of prunes is rich, soft, sweet and at the same time quite versatile - it perfectly suits both salty meat dishes and light desserts. Salad with prunes, in addition to being good for health, also perfectly decorates the festive table.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of prunes;
- - 500 g chicken fillet;
- - 1 lemon;
- - 150 g mayonnaise;
- - 100 g of walnuts;
- - 1 head of garlic;
- - parsley dill;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet and cook until tender. Dry the presoaked prunes with paper towels. If the prunes contain seeds, remove them by making neat cuts on the fruit.
Step 2
Cool and cut the chicken fillet into equal pieces. These can be strips or cubes - at the discretion of the hostess.
Step 3
Cut the prunes into thin slices too. Transfer the chicken to a deep bowl, add chopped prunes, finely chopped garlic and nuts. Season with salt and lemon juice. Let it brew for about ten minutes.
Step 4
After dressing with mayonnaise (or low-fat sour cream, yogurt - if you are counting calories), garnish the salad with chicken and prunes with parsley and dill. Serve.
