Red fish of the salmon family is a valuable and useful product for humans. In addition to the high content of omega-3 fatty acids, salmon is also rich in vitamin D, with which our body is able to absorb calcium. The gastronomic properties of salmon are well known; almost any red fish dish is a culinary delicacy.
Preparation of food
In order to cook salmon and potato cutlets, you will need:
- 300 g potatoes;
- 100 g salmon fillet;
- 1 egg;
- 1 tbsp. l. flour;
- 1 bunch of dill;
- olive oil;
- salt and pepper.
Cooking salmon cutlets
Wash and peel potatoes, cut into medium-sized pieces, place in a saucepan and cover with cold water, do not forget to salt. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil, then reduce the heat.
Grate the skinless and boneless salmon with a mixture of olive oil, salt and black pepper on all sides. Next, place the fillets in a colander, cover with foil. Place the fish colander on top of the pot, cook for 8-10 minutes.
Mash the boiled potatoes, chop the salmon with a blender, add a tablespoon of flour, an egg and chopped dill to the ingredients. Stir the mixture until smooth.
Form fish cakes from the resulting minced meat and roll them well in flour. Pour a small amount of olive oil into the pan. When the oil is hot enough, start frying the cutlets. Fry the fish cakes for four minutes on each side. Serve salmon and potato cutlets with a side dish or as a complete meal.
