Mushroom Puff Pie - A soft text pastry with two layers of delicious topping of fried mushrooms with onions and mashed potatoes with grated cheese. Such a cake will decorate the table not only on a weekday, but also on a holiday.
Preparation of food
In order to make a puff pastry with mushrooms you will need:
- 200 g flour;
- 100 ml of kefir;
- 100 g of cottage cheese;
- 100 g butter;
- ½ tsp soda;
- ½ tsp salt.
For filling:
- 500 g of mushrooms;
- 750 g mashed potatoes;
- 2 onions;
- 2 eggs;
- 200 g of cheese;
- 250 ml of kefir;
- 1 bunch of dill.
Cooking a layer pie with mushrooms
Put flour, cottage cheese and butter in a large bowl, grind the ingredients into crumbs. Gradually pour in kefir, salt, add baking soda. Knead a soft dough and roll into a ball. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest.
If the mushrooms are frozen, thaw them. Peel the onions and chop finely. Fry mushrooms and onions in vegetable oil, add chopped dill to them. Boil potatoes, make mashed potatoes. Add kefir, eggs and grated cheese to the mashed potatoes, whisk the mashed potatoes into a fluffy mass.
Take the dough and roll it to the size of the baking sheet, make sides in order to close the filling. Spread the mushrooms fried with onions evenly on the dough. Top the mushrooms with mashed potatoes and cheese. Cover the filling with bumpers.
Bake the mushroom puff pie for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees, after the time has passed, let it cool, then serve.
