Delicate rice with chicken, sausages and egg crust is a traditional Spanish dish. To prepare it, you need a minimum list of products, which can be found in almost every refrigerator, and only an hour of time.

It is necessary

  • • 200 g of rice;
  • • 200 g chicken fillet;
  • • 150 g of sausages;
  • • 1 ripe tomato;
  • • ½ cup olive oil;
  • • 750 ml of chicken broth or plain water;
  • • 1 clove of garlic;
  • • 2 eggs;
  • • salt and saffron to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour olive oil into a deep frying pan and heat it well.

Step 2

Peel the garlic and pass through the garlic. Rinse the meat and cut into small cubes. Put the prepared ingredients in hot oil, fry and pour into any suitable saucepan, where they will continue to cook.

Step 3

Pour the contents of a saucepan with water, season with salt and cook for about half an hour. If ready-made chicken broth is available, then this step can be safely skipped.

Step 4

Put the sausages in a frying pan (in the butter from under the meat), fry them until golden brown and transfer to any plate. Cut ripe tomato into cubes, put in the same oil, season with saffron and fry.

Step 5

Then add all the meat to the fried tomato cubes, pour the broth over it and bring to a boil. Rinse the rice under running water, pour it into a boiling broth with tomato and meat, season everything again with salt and cook for 10-12 minutes.

Step 6

Meanwhile, beat the eggs into a bowl and beat well with a whisk. After 10 minutes, cut the sausages in half, put in a frying pan on top of boiled rice, pour over the egg mass and place for a quarter of an hour in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. During this time, the rice with sausages will bake and take on an appetizing golden crust.

Step 7

Note that if there is no deep frying pan, then boiled rice with meat and tomato can be poured into a baking dish. Put the sausages there, pour everything with egg filling and send it to the oven in the form. Remove the finished rice with a crust from the oven, garnish with sprigs of your favorite greens and serve either with sliced fresh vegetables or with a juicy vegetable salad.
